BOTOX®
BOTOX® is a very popular and safe procedure. Your BOTOX®
injection will be performed by Board Certified Plastic Surgeon,
Douglas M, Senderoff, MD, FACS as an quick out-patient procedure
in either his Manhattan or Westchester, New York office. The
BOTOX® procedure takes less than 15 minutes and you can
immediately get cack to your daily routine without any
discomfort. If you have sensitive skin the BOTOX® injection may
leave a small red dot which may persist for the remainder of the
day - this can easily be covered with make-up.
How is BOTOX® injected?
BOTOX® is injected into the affected muscles by the NYC Board
Certified Plastic Surgeon, Douglas Senderoff, MD, FACS, will
determine which muscles need to be treated.
Does the BOTOX® injection hurt?
Some people report minor, temporary discomfort from the
injection. BOTOX® is reconstituted with sterile,
preservative-free, normal saline for injection. The neutral pH
of the injected solution, in combination with the fine-gauge
needle your doctor will use, can help to minimize any
injection-related pain. Most patients report that BOTOX®
injections do not hurt.
When will BOTOX® start to work?
The effects of BOTOX® ® will become apparent within three days
and will continue to become more apparent over the next two
weeks.
How long with the effects of BOTOX® last?
BOTOX® offers sustained relief. The effects of BOTOX® will
normally last for 3 - 4 months. Treatments can be continued as
long as your condition responds to BOTOX®. After this period the
effects BOTOX® of will start to wear off, the injected muscles
will become more active and creases may return.
Usually, BOTOX® treatment is required approximately four times
per year. Because symptoms can change over time, the amount and
duration of relief you'll experience can vary. The Manhattan

insurance?
